The colour palette started life as the CMYK Kalimba I built in a couple of days for myself. Since there was so much interest in that one, I went back to the drawing board and re-designed the whole thing from the artwork down to all the electronics. What I ended up with was the Colour Palette, an electric Kalimba with 8 adjustable reverb and delay effects.

Simple, but packed with possibilities

At its heart, the colour palette is a C major scale 17 key acoustic kalimba with a twist. It’s in a standard size aluminium pedal enclosure with a contact microphone and lots of effects to enhance and change the sound. For ease of use it also runs on a standard 9v pedal power supply (not included).
